Aside from losing value over the past century since the establishment of the Federal Reserve System, the United States $100 bill has visually evolved since the year 1862. Many statesmen have come and gone on the front of the $100 bill, including President Abraham Lincoln, Senator Thomas Hart Benton and Admiral James Glasgow Farragut.

The infographic below takes a look at the $100 bill from 1862 to today. This coincides with the Federal Reserve issuing a newly designed $100 bill with many security features – though, it’s not protected from Ben Bernanke or Janet Yellen.
