White House officials say that President Donald Trump is considering a zero percent payroll tax cut for the rest of 2020 to help fight the economic fallout from the Wuhan coronavirus that has infected hundreds in the United States, reports CNBC.
The president is also pitching federal assistance to the shale industry as it could be impacted by the global price war between Saudi Arabia, Russia, and OPEC.
Recently, Trump encouraged health insurance companies to waive co-pays on coronavirus testing.

“Donald Trump pitches 0% payroll tax cut.”
With the SS Trust Fund running out of money in 2035, this is just a CRAZY idea. How is this going to really help. Someone making $30 K per year will see an extra $40 per week. If $160 per month is going to make a big difference in your standard of living, you have bigger problems than the Corona Virus.
I just wish DT and the Rs would fix the SS funding problem before it is too late.
