Does it even feel like Christmas? Whether you’re in the holiday spirit or not, a news report came out that pegged the question: how do you tip over the next couple of weeks? Although the money is tight and people should not go overboard with spending or tipping, why should we tip any differently just because it’s Christmas?
I don’t mean to be a Grinch or a Scrooge, but it’s bad enough that tips seem automatic that we shouldn’t have to increase it because it’s December. It seems no matter where I go in the service sector, the only really nice people to me are those at Tim Hortons no matter how nice I am (I empathize with them so I’m polite and grateful to them). But I digress.
Will you be tipping differently over the next couple of weeks? Are you a miser and omit a tip completely? Let us know in the comment section below.
