The United States Postal Service announced Wednesday that it will no longer deliver letters or first-class mail on Saturdays starting Aug. 1, 2013. Packages will still continue to be delivered.
The mailing agency is expected to unveil a series of drastic cuts Wednesday to tackle its multi-billion-dollar budget shortfall. Since Congress has failed to act to solve the issue, the USPS believes it can save billions of dollars through outs measures.
