Aside from losing value over the past century since the establishment of the Federal Reserve System, the United States $100 bill has visually evolved since the year 1862. Many statesmen have come and gone on the front of the $100 bill, including President Abraham Lincoln, Senator Thomas Hart Benton and Admiral James Glasgow Farragut.
