‘Tis the season to get into a lot of debt and purchase gifts for people you don’t like. Let’s forget about being the Grinch for now and focus on the economic side of the Christmas season. According to an infographic, American consumers are spending $3 trillion at this time of the year. Although this is a great stimulus to the economy, it is mostly driven by debt (as that late January credit card bill will show you).
