Since Jan. 2000, everything has skyrocketed: the price of oil has risen 315 percent, one dozen eggs increased more than 100 percent, a movie ticket jumped 95 percent, coffee shot up 53 percent and the list goes on. The chart highlights the soaring price inflation affecting consumers, something that ostensibly is non-existent, according to governments, the Federal Reserve and Paul Krugman-like economists.
