Despite mainstream economists and the Federal Reserve continuing to purport the myth that there is no inflation in the United States, another chart shows how there is price inflation occurring, at least for those who use more than a box of matches for their warmth and lighting needs.
According to the electricity price index, the cost of electricity reached its all-time high this past January. The seasonally adjusted price index for electricity was 212.290, up from 210.489 in December, which was also a previous record high. So, price inflation is rampant, unless you use a flashlight for light, you don’t eat food and you don’t go to school.
