Do you live paycheck to paycheck? Do you have more “stuff’ than real assets and savings? Well, it’s likely you have some sort of spending problem. There are plenty of warning signs that you’re a chronic spender, but this was an interesting list compiled by Daily Finance, which highlighted three common signals of a spending problem:
Names: If a retail clerk, bartender or business owner knows you by name then it’s probable that you’re spending a lot of your money at this business.
Emails: Are companies emailing you more than friends, family members and colleagues put together? You’re likely spending a lot of money on these brands.
Birthday Gifts: If a nearby store is sending you a $50 birthday gift then it’s likely they’re thanking you for spending hundreds or thousands of dollars per year at their company.
