Like most other government programs, government education has been a failure. Students are being taught to be activists, the quality has decreased and spending has soared. Despite the various reports that governments from British Columbia to Prince Edward Island have slashed education spending, it has gone up while there have been fewer students. In fact, according to the Fraser Institute (see below), the government spends $11,835 per student, which is up 63.2 percent.
