What cities in the world work the least? In this busy, workaday and stressful asphalt jungle, we work a lot, at least in the United States and Canada. Around the world, however, work isn’t a sacred practice as people seem to value their time more than a paycheck.
UBS analysts released a new report that lists 10 cities in the world with the shortest work hours.
To no one’s surprise, Paris topped the list, followed by another French city: Lyon. Third on the list is Moscow.
Here is the entire top 10 list:
1. Paris: 1,604 hours per year
2. Lyon: 1,631 hours per year
3. Moscow: 1,647 hours per year
4. Helsinki: 1,659 hours per year
5. Vienna: 1,678 hours per year
6. Milan: 1,691 hours per year
7. Copenhagen: 1,697 hours per year
8. Luxembourg: 1,703 hours per year
9. Vilnius: 1,716 hours per year
10. Brussels: 1,717 hours per year
