Viva wealth redistribution!
It is true. The United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and countries all over the world need as much wealth redistribution as possible. The more the merrier. The greater the better. The larger number of participants the better.
If you expected a long-winded, fallacious diatribe a la Bernie Sanders, Karl Marx or any other socialist prophet then you’ve come to the wrong place. We’re talking about wealth redistribution in the sense of free markets, one of the greatest contributions to society known to man.
Free markets are in fact a form of wealth redistribution. Active, voluntary and willing individuals without coercion exchange goods and services through an agreed upon price and currency. One party receives a certain value placed on the good/service and the other party receives another value assigned to the good/service. Everyone benefits.
No force, violence or coercion was necessary. No politician instructing the serfs on what to charge and what to buy. No government body imposing regulations on the redistribution of wealth. No statist vowed to impose restrictions and tariffs on trade. No entity openly taking out your wallet and stealing money.
The free market created a body where everyone can redistribute wealth voluntarily. One person is selling a good that another consumer values more than the money in their hands. They come together and exchange. Who wouldn’t want this kind of wealth redistribution?
So the next time you come across a Bernie Sanders supporter, a Hillary Clinton proponent or an active defender of the statist, inform them that you endorse free market wealth redistribution. They’ll be stunned by such remarks. It’ll likely fly right over their heads. This is where you proceed to pontificate on capitalism and free markets and highlight how this has been the most effective type of wealth redistribution.
Unfortunately, the kind of wealth redistribution they’re promoting is just the transfer of wealth through government approved force.
Eugene Patrick Devany says
As long as my business has a (government created intellectual property) monopoly, I want free markets.
