It’s true. We’re all just a bunch of babies. Here are reasons to fear for humanity’s future from this past week’s headlines:
Small Ontario Town Upset Over Tattoo Discrimination
Have you ever heard of a town in the province of Ontario called Fergus? Likely not, and many other Canadians haven’t either! But the town is in the news after it was discovered that a private business posted a want ad for a waitress free of tattoos and face piercings.
Horizon Family Restaurant posted a job advertisement seeking “reliable waitress help” for a full-time and part-time position. The job ad states: “Do not apply with visible tattoos and face piercings.”
Everyone was enraged after a photo of the job ad made the rounds on the Internet. Social media was in upheaval over this small town’s restaurant wanted a specific employee for its private establishment. Here are what a couple of comments online say:
“They will serve you if you have tattoos and piercings (aka take your money) won’t hire you if they you have tattoos or piercings,” reads one.
“That’s greedy discrimination at it’s finest. Typical small town ignorance & exclusion.”
What’s interesting is that most of the people commenting on the story 1) have never and will never visit Fergus, 2) have never and will never frequent the establishment 3) will turn a blind eye to a private business seeking those with tattoos and visible piercings.
Here is the job ad:
Mark Ruffalo Supports Oscar Boycott, Will Attend Ceremony
Have you heard? Hollywood, known for its liberal bias and political correctness, is racist, at least according to the likes of Spike Lee (worth $40 million), Will Smith (worth $240 million) and Jada Pinkett-Smith ($20 million).
Why is Hollywood racist? Because black actors weren’t nominated for an Academy Award in any of the acting categories. Now they’re calling for a boycott of the Oscars, though it’s being hosted by a black man and many black actors have won the coveted award over the years, particularly Sydney Poitier and Denzel Washington.
Sorry “Ride Along 2” didn’t get a nod.
One of the latest to support a boycott is Mark Ruffalo. Hulk himself told BBC News that he supports the boycott movement because it’s “white privilege racism” at its worst. Here is what he told the news outlet:
“It isn’t just the Academy Awards,” Ruffalo said. “The entire American system is rife with a kind of white privileged racism that goes into our justice system.”
Will he attend the Oscars? Yep. He’s up for an award so forget any integrity or intellectual consistency.
Someone on Twitter posted this interesting image. If the U.S. were racist then how come this is the current depiction of one Olympic team:

Columnist Claims Hillary Clinton is a Feminist
Oh boy! Not only is president-in-waiting Hillary Clinton a champion of the middle class, she’s also a feminist. That’s what Los Angeles Times columnist Meghan Daum thinks.
“The thing is, Clinton’s record on women’s rights is about as solid as it gets. As a senator she pushed for access to emergency contraception and sponsored equal-pay bills. As secretary of State she constantly kept global women’s issues in the forefront. As first lady — well, she redefined the role forever,” she wrote.
Perhaps Daum ignores the fact that her senate staff was mostly composed of men (who were also paid more than their female counterparts); she has shut down those who have accused her husband, former President Bill Clinton, of inappropriate conduct; and she stood by her husband just to rise to political office (well, the last part is just guessing).
Let’s call a spade a spade. Clinton is nothing but a crony statist who will do anything to become U.S. President.
Libya Was Attacked Because of Pan-African Currency?
Why this isn’t bigger news befuddles everyone who has read the story.
If you haven’t come across the story then here is a summary brought to you by a 2011 email from the former Secretary of State:
According to sensitive information available to this these individuals, Qaddafi’s government holds 143 tons of gold, and a similar amount in silver. During late March, 2011 these stocks were moved to SABHA (south west in the direction of the Libyan border with Niger and Chad); taken from the vaults of the Libyan Central Bank in Tripoli. This gold was accumulated prior to the current rebellion and was intended to be used to establish a pan-African currency based on the Libyan golden Dinar. This plan was designed to provide the Francophone African Countries with an alternative to the French.franc (CFA).
(Source Comment: According to knowledgeable individuals this quantity of gold and silver is valued at more than $7 billion. French intelligence officers discovered this plan shortly after the current rebellion began, and this was one of the factors that influenced President Nicolas Sarkozy’s decision to commit France to the attack on Libya
In other words, Libya’s Gaddafi was taken out because he wanted the gold dinar to replace the U.S. dollar and euro through a Pan-African currency. President Obama and his administration wanted Libya’s gold, silver and oil under their control once Gaddafi was taken out.
This should certainly be dominating the political discussion, but it’s just swept under the rug. For shame mainstream media. For shame…
Leonardo DiCaprio Upset Over ‘Greed’
Leonardo DiCaprio, probably one of the greatest actors of this generation, blamed the greed of Big Oil, Big Gas and Big Coal over environmental conditions in the world.
DiCaprio, who earns about $25 million per picture, probably used an aircraft or one of his massive luxury boats to get to Davos to speak at the World Economic Forum. Let’s hope that the building didn’t have any heating or cooling. DiCaprio would likely get enraged by all of the greed of those companies heating the building during his speech.
If everyone was so upset by CO2 then why didn’t everyone just Skype throughout the entire conference from their respective homelands. It would have certainly been a lot more environmentally friendly and economically efficient.
At least others see his “Titanic hypocrisy.”
