After his victories in Michigan, Hawaii and Mississippi on Tuesday night, Donald Trump held a press conference. He was asked about the attack ads made against him by the GOP establishment – 70 percent of the political ads in the last week have been directed towards Trump – which highlight is foul language. When he was asked by a reporter about the language, this is what Donald Trump had to say:
“Oh, you’re so politically correct. You’re so beautiful. Oh, look at you. Ohhh, he’s so — I know, you’ve never heard a little bad, a little off language. I know, you’re a perfect. Aren’t you perfect? Aren’t you just a perfect young man? Give me break. You know what, it’s stuff like that that people in this country are tired of. OK? It’s stuff like that.”
Following the latest bout of primaries, Trump has 458 delegates, compared to Ted Cruz’s 359 delegates and Marco Rubio’s 151 delegates. Hillary Clinton, meanwhile, is inching closer to clinching the Democratic nomination.
