What may be the biggest shock of the week, celebrated socialist filmmaker Michael Moore blamed the water crisis in Flint, Michigan on Democrats. The question is: did Michael Moore finish reading “Did Free Markets Cause the Flint, Michigan Water Disaster?”
Earlier this week, Moore tweeted out that Democrats have been in charge of Flint for a very long time and that they are at fault for the water crisis unfolding in Flint. However, he did urge the Department of Justice to arrest Michigan Republican Governor Rick Snyder.
Here is what the Oscar winner wrote:
“Flint has voted for Dems for 84 straight yrs. What did it get us? For 18 months Dems remained silent &ignored pleas while Flint was poisoned.”

“Dems control the Dept of Justice. The US attorney is a Dem. If they want to help, arrest the governor. Then send in Army Corps of Engineers.”

This comes as 2016 presidential candidate Bernie Sanders blamed the crises transpiring in Michigan – both the bankruptcy in Michigan and Flint water crisis – on capitalist corporations (SEE: Why is Bernie Sanders blaming Detroit bankruptcy on capitalist corporations?)
The water across the U.S. is pretty much managed and controlled by the government. Like anything else the government touches, Flint residents had to pay high rates for disgusting water. To see how inept government is, one has to look no further than the water shortage in the state of California (SEE: How California could have avoided its epic water crisis (video)). For whatever reason, California’s water shortage is being blamed on capitalism and global warming instead of the real culprit: government.
JRATT says
City water quality across this country is sub-par in most locations. I have a under sink filter on my water, without it, the water has an after taste and I only noticed it after returning from a 3 month vacation.
My sister lives NE of Dallas, TX and has to buy bottled water by the gallon, $50 per month, you cannot drink the water even with a filter.
If you think things are bad now, just wait until we have single payer healthcare. It will be a bigger mess than Obamacare.
More limits across the board to try to save money and it will still cost you an arm and a leg. It is the government, they will either get it through higher taxes or higher co-pays, but they will get it. You will get healthcare services just like you get at DMV. I know plenty of people with the income who have and will opt out of government healthcare and pay the fine.
