Glassdoor is out with a new report that looks at 10 occupations where women earn more than men. The report should anger feminists all over the Western world who are fighting for equality. But let’s face it: that won’t happen. It seems more like the social just warriors (SJWs) are demanding revenge instead of an egalitarian society.
So, in what occupations are women making more than their male counterparts? Here is the list:
1. Social worker: $1.08
2. Merchandiser: $1.08
3. Research assistant: $1.07
4. Purchasing specialist: $1.06
5. Physician advisor: $1.02
6. Communications associate: $1.02
7. Social media: $1.02
8. Health educator: $1.01
9. Procurement: $1.01
10. Business coordinators and therapists: $1.01
Reparations! Government laws! Protests! These are the solutions to get men equal pay in social work!
The same website found that when factors like job titles, education, years of experience and age are taken into account then the supposed gender pay gap of 23 cents shrinks substantially (be sure to check ECN tomorrow for more data from this report).
Remember, there are many factors for any sort of pay gap: commute times, work-life balance, family, type of work, pay negotiation and the list goes on. Of course, other studies have highlighted that when analysts look at people with the same qualifications, same years of experience, same marital status, same education, the gender gap is effectively zero.
