It’s 2012 all over again! It should be very interesting dinner conversation at the Paul household.
Just like in 2012, Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul has endorsed the presumptive GOP nominee. The former presidential frontrunner, who is now on life support to hold onto his senate seat, confirmed that he will support Donald Trump in the general election during an interview with radio host Leland Conway.
“You know, I’ve always said I’ll endorse the nominee. I said that even when I ran [for Senate] in 2010.”
What about his father, three-time presidential candidate Ron Paul? He won’t vote for Trump.
Speaking in an interview with the Fox Business Network (via Newsmax) last week, Paul said he couldn’t and wouldn’t support Trump, nor could he vote for Hillary Clinton. Paul noted that it’s likely he would find an alternative come November because “there’s bound to be somebody that believes in something that comes closer to what the American tradition is all about and free markets. I’m not going to vote for tariffs. It would be pretty hard for me to do that.”
Paul added:
“Whether it’s Hillary who has a close tie with Wall Street and Trump is not going to disappear and not protect Wall Street because the crash is coming and Trump will bail them out just like Hillary.”
If the senator had emulated his father in this election, he could’ve been in the same position as Trump is in right now. The people wanted an alternative to the establishment and Paul failed to be that guy. Instead, they chose Trump, who is veering closer and closer to the establishment with each passing day.

Bad article! First of all, Senator Rand Paul has NOT endorsed Donald Trump yet. He has said that he pledged to support the nominee. His exact words “I’ve always said I’ll endorse the nominee..” and the quote is right here in this piece of trash story. Second lie is that Senator Rand Paul is on life support to hang on to his Senate seat. That is just downright false. Andrew Moran, don’t be a moron!

I have not voted since bill clinton won over pres. Bush 1992. Now, because of Donald Trumps vision, I am involved in GOP meetings, He is our nominee for President. Rand Paul is a great senator, would be great pick for V.P. Experienced, dedicated, younger voters like him. Donald will beat the dem. nom. with whomever He chooses. my thought is with Rand.

PS so many uppity reps/dems think of Ky. as a poor state and leave it at that since they don’t ask for handouts. the coal miners they are true evangelical, conservative people who have been Forgotten by DC. Living like Dan Boone. Rand has right ideas to help KY. Trump sees the people of KY living by the grace of GOD and wants to help. (enough refugee/alien).
