You can’t expect too much from a socialist anyway. Who ever said a socialist had principles in the first place?
Vermont Senator and 2016 presidential candidate Bernie Sanders announced Tuesday he will be endorsing former Secretary of State and election rival Hillary Clinton for president of the United States. He claimed that it’s important to unify the Democratic Party and to defeat Donald Trump in November.
“This campaign is not really about Hillary Clinton, or Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders, or any other candidate who sought the presidency. This campaign is about the needs of the American people and addressing the very serious crises that we face,” Sanders said. “And there is no doubt in my mind that, as we head into November, Hillary Clinton is far and away the best candidate to do that.”
Despite Clinton standing for everything Sanders supposedly despises about American politics, he lent his support to her, and effectively selling out to the establishment. For shame.
Rightfully so, Sanders’s supporters vented their frustration on social media. Here is just one of them:

You never saw Ron Paul endorse John McCain or Mitt Romney after he lost his bid for the Republican nomination.
