Do you still think the system isn’t rigged? If the “Hillary Leaks” proves anything, it’s that politics is phony, though if you’re a staunch news junkie then you may have already realized this.
The mainstream media is fake. Democrats portraying themselves as virtuous is fake. A lot of the push back against Bernie Sanders from the left was fake.
The Wikileaks dump of nearly 20,000 emails and more than 8,000 attachments from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) over the weekend should be making the news more than the plagiarized Melanie Trump speech. Well, at least Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the DNC chair, longtime crony and staunch Hillary Clinton defender, announced she would be resigning.
“Going forward, the best way for me to accomplish those goals is to step down as party chair at the end of this convention,” Wasserman Schultz said in a statement. “As party chair, this week I will open and close the convention and I will address our delegates about the stakes involved in this election not only for Democrats, but for all Americans.”
But why is Wasserman-Schultz stepping down? What was inside all of those emails?
From Wikileaks:
Today, Friday 22 July 2016 at 10:30am EDT, WikiLeaks releases 19,252 emails and 8,034 attachments from the top of the US Democratic National Committee — part one of our new Hillary Leaks series. The leaks come from the accounts of seven key figures in the DNC: Communications Director Luis Miranda (10770 emails), National Finance Director Jordon Kaplan (3797 emails), Finance Chief of Staff Scott Comer (3095 emails), Finanace Director of Data & Strategic Initiatives Daniel Parrish (1472 emails), Finance Director Allen Zachary (1611 emails), Senior Advisor Andrew Wright (938 emails) and Northern California Finance Director Robert (Erik) Stowe (751 emails). The emails cover the period from January last year until 25 May this year.
Well, here are some of the top findings from the leaked DNC emails:
Rewarding Big Donors With Appointments
Clinton and the DNC planned to reward the biggest political donors with federal appointments. The party had wanted top give prominent fundraisers and the biggest donors with appointments to commissions and federal boards once Clinton was elected.
The list of the people below (via Daily Caller) had given money to the Clinton campaign and nothing to the Sanders camp:
“Last call for boards and commissions,” wrote Jordan Kaplan, DNC’s national finance director, in an April 20 email. “If you have someone, send to [DNC finance chief of staff Scott] Comer – full name, city, state, email and phone number. Send as many as you want, just don’t know how many people will get to.”
There ostensibly was room on the USPS, NEA, NEH and President’s Commission on the Celebration of Women in American History
Essentially, if you had the dough then you could receive a federal appointment.
The Intense Sanders Smear
The smear against Bernie Sanders is generating buzz and is drawing noticeable media attention. The emails verified one thing: there was a strong anti-Bernie Sanders sentiment within the party ranks. Wasserman-Schultz and others established a huge plot to smear the self-identified socialist and Vermont senator.
Here is just one DNC CFO Brad Marshall email from the thousands provided by Wikileaks:
“It might may no difference, but for KY and WVA can we get someone to ask his belief. Does he believe in a God. He had skated on saying he has a Jewish heritage. I think I read he is an atheist. This could make several points difference with my peeps. My Southern Baptist peeps would draw a big difference between a Jew and an atheist.”
By May 21, Wasserman-Schultz declared that Sanders “isn’t going to be president.”
Just to make sure that he wasn’t going to be the party’s nominee or U.S. president, the DNC sent out interns to stage fake protests. The DNC also had moles working inside the Sanders campaign.
Even polling locations were reduced in heavy Sanders supported area.
“If she outperforms this polling, the Bernie camp will go nuts and allege misconduct,” one staffer wrote.
Another responded:
“They’ll probably complain regardless, actually. We might want to get out in front of this one with an inquiry to the RI Gov., even though she’s one of ours.”
A Super PAC went as far as paying young voters to fight against online Sanders supporters. In other words, they were paid shills.
DNC Colluding with the Media
There was constant collusion between the media and the DNC.
One example shows a Politico reporter, Kenneth Vogel, working with the DNC and providing the party with an advanced copy of a piece regarding Clinton’s fundraising. Interestingly enough, the DNC saw the story before his editor did.
“Vogel gave me his story ahead of time/before it goes to his editors as long as I didn’t share it,” DNC press secretary Mark Paustenbach wrote. “Let me know if you see anything that’s missing and I’ll push back.”
Another email found that the DNC had been in constant contact with news websites. For instance, one Real Clear Politics article reported that Sanders supporters were wreaking havoc at the Nevada Democratic Convention.
“This headline needs to be changed,” Wasserman Schultz said.
Wasserman-Schultz was in communication with NBC‘s Chuck Todd as one email subject line stated: “Chuck, this must stop.”
You can’t forget about CNN. The DNC actually fed CNN anchor Jake Tapper with questions.
“Thanks for facilitating Luis coming on today, and bearing with us through a meelee of GOP nonsense and cancellations and all that. Any particular points he’ll want to make? We’re gonna stay Dem focused…” Jason Seher, CNN Writer/Producer, wrote to one Luis Miranda, DNC Communications Director.
“Window closing on this. Need to know asap if we want to offer Jake Tapper questions to ask us,” Miranda replied.
Of course, what should be no surprise, there was quite the collaboration between BuzzFeed and the DNC.

DNC Making Fun of Everyone
Isn’t the Democratic Party a party of love, tolerance and inclusion? Not necessarily.
Emails constantly show that DNC officials constantly made fun of its supporters and made homophobic and sexist remarks.
“LaQueenia is a NAME! I’m sorry, boo. I hope you got a raise with this title,” one email read.
“I love you too. No homo,” another email read.
The DNC also referred to Fox News host as a “bimbo.”
“Yes, Trumpet was right Megyn Kelly is a Bimbo,” one DNC email stated.
Trying to Sabotage Donald Trump Campaign
Although the DNC’s efforts seem to be in vain, the DNC tried everything to smear Trump even further.
For instance, the DNC created fake job advertisements to make Trump seem like he’s a sexist. A Craigslist job posting stated that a Trump organization was looking for a “Honey Bunny,” who was not allowed to gain weight and be open to public humiliation and sexual harassment.
The DNC conspired to produce false information pertaining to the 2016 Republican nominee. And, again, the DNC colluded with the media by releasing this information to Reuters.
DNC officials launched anti-Trump protests across the country, including in Indiana and Montana.
Final Thoughts
Everything is fake. The next time you watch a segment on CNN or a read a news article on BuzzFeed, you have to question the integrity, the motive and the legitimacy of the reporting.
Will this negatively affect the Democratic National Convention, Hillary Clinton and the DNC? Who knows? With the MSM in collusion with the DNC, it’s quite unlikely that anchors, reporters and producers will make a big deal about the emails. To them, it’s much more important to moan and whine about a copied speech than sabotaging the political process.
The game is rigged. This just shows how the two-party system is a failure. Governments can be bought and sold. Politicians are the same.
