Here is a question: when will the media chastize Hillary Clinton over her policies on trade that are pretty much identical to her Republican opponent, Donald Trump? The answer is likely never.
When it comes to the topic of trade, the GOP nominee wants to impose tariffs, shut down the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and believes NAFTA has hurt jobs.
Where does Clinton stand? She now wants to institute tariffs, she has flip flopped on the TPP and now is in favor of the backroom globalist deal and she thinks NAFTA has hurt jobs.
This week, the former Secretary of State claimed that she would be willing to apply tariffs just like her election rival, according to CNN.
“When countries break the rules, we won’t hesitate to impose targeted tariffs,” she told a Michigan crowd. “I’m going to ramp up enforcement by appointing a new chief trade prosecutor, tripling the number of enforcement officers.”
She added that she will not lend her support for TPP, though her former boss has been promoting it as the gold standard of supposed free trade.
“I oppose it now, I’ll oppose it after the election, and I’ll oppose it as president,” Clinton said.
The MSM has generally lambasted Trump for his opposition to TPP and NAFTA and his plan to impose tariffs. Now that Clinton has essentially adopted the same plan, will the media go into full attack mode? Probably not.
And they certainly won’t criticize her for constantly changing stance on the matter. Since CNN has admitted that it has given her a free ride and helped her, it will not happen.
SICK! CNN has zero credibility Watch CNN admit they are promoting Hillary & giving her “a free pass”

Here is what Clinton said about TPP during her time as Secretary of State:
“TPP sets the gold standard in trade agreements to open free, transparent, fair trade, the kind of environment that has the rule of law and a level playing field.”
