News Story of the Day: a Hillary Clinton ally doesn’t think too much of young people.
According to a new release of emails by WikiLeaks, ally and marketing executive Wendy Bronfein told Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta that the former Secretary of State “may not be the best face” to get the youth vote. If she does try to capture millennials then Clinton, says Bronfein, needs to take advantage of “trending figures” because ““that’s the crap that young people pay attention to.”
“It’s f**king dumb but being ‘cool’ counts for more than it maybe should,” Bronfein told Podesta.
“I hate to generalize a generation but by social media nature, they ‘follow.’ So if someone they identify as cool endorses – they will likely fall in line with that candidate.”

These emails prove another thing beyond corruption: Hillary Clinton and her closest associates detest the very people that support her. Is it because they’re just useful idiots and peasants who will bow down to the graft queen? It would be interesting to see what exactly goes on inside the mind of Clinton herself.
Chart of the Day: which industries perform the best and which industries perform the worst when inflation expectations start to go up? The best is energy and the worst are the banks. Here is the chart courtesy of MarketWatch:
Illustration of the Day: most Hillary Clinton supporters online are chastizing Julian Assange and WikiLeaks for publishing damning emails from the Clinton campaign. They say it’s wrong and illegal and that Assange should be punished. You could feel sympathy for them if they were intellectually consistent, but they’re not. As they lambast WikiLeaks for the emails, they demand the transparency organization to publish Donald Trump’s tax returns. If you follow their logic, wouldn’t it be wrong for the group to publish Trump’s tax returns? Consistency isn’t necessary in today’s world, which is why Clinton will be the next U.S. President.
Quote of the Day: legendary free market economist Thomas Sowell seems to be eloquent on every single issue. When it comes to immigration, he is just as astute as he is on economics. Here is an excerpt from his latest op-ed on TownHall:
What is it that makes this country so different that so many people from around the world have, for centuries, wanted to come here, more so than to any other country? It is not the land or the climate, neither of which is so different from the land and the climate in many other places.
Nor is it the racial makeup of the country, which consists of races found on other continents. What is unique are American institutions, American culture and American economic and other achievements within that framework.
People who came here a hundred years ago usually did so in order to fit within the framework of America and become Americans. Some still do. But many come from a very different cultural background — and our own multiculturalism dogmas and grievance industry work to keep them foreign and resentful of Americans who have achieved more than they have.
Some immigrant groups seek to bring to America the very cultures whose failures led them to flee to this country. Not all individual immigrants and not all immigrant groups. But too many Americans have become so gullible that they are afraid to even get the facts about which immigrants have done well and improved America, and which have become a burden that can drag us all down.
Video of the Day: UC Berkeley students have proven that they are racists. Recently, in order to promote transgender and queer safe spaces, the university students blocked the entrance and prevented whites and Asians from entering the campus. Evidently, they want segregation, something that those opposed to racism wanted to eradicate years ago. It’s frightening to think that these fragile millennials will be running the world in a couple of decades. Here is the clip:
