Finally! After 18 months of interviews, debates, reports, scandals and the like, the 2016 United States presidential election has come to an end. Today is the final day of the election campaign trail and millions of voters will head to the ballot box tomorrow.
Whoever wins, the American people lose.
With that being said, it’s time to take one last look at the polls.
According to Real Clear Politics’s polling average, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton holds a 2.5-point lead over Republican nominee Donald Trump. Of the last three polls, Clinton gains an advantage of between one and four points. Of the last 10 polls, Trump only comes out on top in one and with a five-point lead.
Libertarian Party nominee Gary Johnson and Green Party nominee are only garnering single-digit support.
