It was 1933, a year when Greta Garbo was the must-see starlet of Hollywood, Glenn Miller was climbing through the jazz world and gangsters were more prevalent than ever before. It was also the year that the United States government finally ended the senseless prohibition of alcohol.
Will Donald Trump end the prohibition of drugs (marijuana, heroin, cocaine, etc.) anytime soon? Probably not.
For now, let’s join the Cato Institute and salute to 83rd anniversary of the end of prohibition.
