Despite evidence to the contrary, the myth of the gender wage gap is continually purported by the mainstream media, politicians and celebrities. The concept will definitely be amplified on International Women’s Day, but it is a flawed premise to begin with and can easily be debunked by looking at all of the data, statistics and trends.
Even if you don’t want to accept the data, you have to ask: if women are paid 23 percent of what men earn then why don’t companies fire all of the males and only hire females? What a great way for those greedy, maniacal and sexist companies to save 23 percent on labor costs!
