The Democrats are warning about the doom and gloom because President Donald Trump wants to make some budget cuts. When the Trump administration requested able-bodied people on food stamps to go to work, the media said the president hates the poor and it is uncouth to ask those on welfare to get a job. It’s amazing what the country has turned into!
What exactly does the president want to cut or eliminate?
The Hill published an in-depth look at the 66 federal programs he wants gone as part of his fiscal year 2018 budget proposal – It’s a savings of just under $27 billion.

Looks like a good start, to me. Let the non-profits (wink, wink) step up and fund some of these programs, if they are so needed. Almost every time government throws more money at a problem it gets worse, not better.
