It seems like more and more people, particularly on the left, are tossing away their principles, positions and policies just because of President Donald Trump.
Case in point, columnist Jennifer Rubin.
Prior to the age of Trump, Rubin slammed the Paris Agreement in a tweet, arguing in December 2015:
“The Paris deal shows the fantasy world Obama and Kerry occupy.. a piece of paper is an accomplishment even if it achieves nothing.”
Well, Rubin quickly changed her tune on Thursday, when the president announced the U.S. withdrawal from the global climate change pact.
“If pullout of Paris: BAD: US again ceding international leadership, kowtow to know-nothings SILVER LINING: No more fawning over Ivanka.”
Here is a tweet that shows the different tweets:

Whatever position Trump holds, the left will do the opposite, even if it’s a policy they have supported for a long time. This was apparent over FBI director James Comey.
A recent example of such reversals occurred over at CNN this past month (SEE: LOL: CNN changes stance on paid family leave because Trump supports it). The liberal news network had espoused the benefits of paid family leave, but then when Trump added it to his budget proposal, CNN had to quickly (and correctly) explain how paid family leave hurts women.
We’re running out of popcorn. This is just too funny. Thanks Internet.
