Although much of the boom occurring in the global stock markets stem from central banking policy, it is still incredible to see how much the stock exchanges of the world have grown in the last 20-plus years.
Since 1992, the world stock market capitalization has skyrocketed from around $10 trillion all the way to $78.1 trillion. The international stock market capitalization hit a record high in June, and grew 17.6 percent year-over-year from June 2016. It also surged from $27 trillion at the height of the Great Recession to where it is today.

According to the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), if you combine Apple, Amazon, Facebook, Google and Microsoft, it would be the eighth largest stock market in the world with $3 trillion.
These are astronomical numbers indeed!
