Earlier this month, four United States soldiers were killed in Niger, and a lot of questions are going unanswered. Unfortunately, the one question that isn’t being asked by the media is this: why the heck is the U.S. even in Niger and other parts of Africa any way?
But there are some in Washington who were completely ignorant of the fact that there was a military presence in Niger. One of these includes South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, who conceded that he was unaware of it.
Well, Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul slammed Senator Graham for this lack of knowledge.
Here is what the former presidential candidate tweeted on Monday:
You know you are in too many wars in too many places when even warmonger Lindsay Graham can’t keep track anymore
— Senator Rand Paul (@RandPaul) October 23, 2017
That’s right. Graham, who never saw a war he didn’t like, can’t even keep track of how many countries the U.S. is stationed in.
That’s bad.
