Dude! Communism and, like, chill, man.
Whenever you see a hipster millennial sport a Che Guevara shirt, do you ever feel like explaining his violent history? If you hear a college student praising the ideals of Karl Marx, do you ever want to highlight the oppressive nature of communism?
On Halloween, echoing the remarks of Paul Joseph Watson, Donald Trump Jr. tweeted that he would take half of his kid’s candy and give it to another child who didn’t even leave the home. This outraged the left, leaving hundreds of tweets, championing the virtues of socialism and slamming his trust fund baby nature.
I’m going to take half of Chloe’s candy tonight & give it to some kid who sat at home. It’s never to early to teach her about socialism. pic.twitter.com/3ie9C0jv2G

But why did Trump Jr. receive so much scorn? Shouldn’t he receive praise? How exactly was he “schooled” on the subject of socialism? According to the results of a new study, it is understandable why many bashed the president’s son.
Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, a D.C.-based non-profit organization, released the results of its latest survey and found that half of U.S. millennials say they would prefer to live in a communist or socialist country rather than a capitalist democracy.
Moreover, 26 percent hold Che Guevara as their “personal hero” and 18 percent say Karl Marx is their hero. What makes it worse is that 12 percent actually view Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro in a positive light!
Here is a chart highlighting the YouGov results:
“Millennials now make up the largest generation in America, and we’re seeing some deeply worrisome trends,” said Marion Smith, executive director of the organization, in a statement. “Millennials are increasingly turning away from capitalism and toward socialism and even communism as a viable alternative.”
You can file this under another failed example of government education.
This is a reminder how several demonstrators held up their middle finger a statue commemorating the victims of communism.
