In a few days, the deadline to file your 2017 income tax return will be here. It’s a sad day for millions of Americans, who hate the fact that they work eight hours a day at jobs they don’t like only for the government to intervene and steal a portion of it.
But, in America today, you pay a whole lot more than a federal income tax. When you factor in all of the taxes, you are paying nearly half to the federal, state, and local government. Everything from soda taxes to salt taxes to even a bagel cutting tax in New York, you’re forking over more and more to the politicians to waste.
