And this is why President Donald Trump still has the level of support he does…
On Wednesday, President Trump hosted a roundtable discussion to discuss California’s sanctuary state policies. He also participated in a back and forth exchange with Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims on illegal immigration and a violent group.
During their conversation, they discussed MS-13, an international criminal gang that is full of “bad hombres.” A lot of them enter the U.S. illegally and commit violence and inflict harm on communities. One look at them and it is apparent that they didn’t get enough hugs from their mothers when they were younger.
As the two men talked about MS-13 members, the president called the group “animals”:
“We have people coming into the country, or trying to come in — and we’re stopping a lot of them — but we’re taking people out of the country. You wouldn’t believe how bad these people are. These aren’t people. These are animals. And we’re taking them out of the country at a level and at a rate that’s never happened before. And because of the weak laws, they come in fast, we get them, we release them, we get them again, we bring them out. It’s crazy.”
This shouldn’t really be controversial, but the media became outraged, decided to misrepresent what he said, and even spout some fibs.

Wow. That’s some widespread fake news.
Or, perhaps it’s the mainstream media condoning MS-13.
Either way, it’s pretty bad.
