News Story of the Day: former President Barack Obama is really cashing in on his post-presidency. He is raking in the dough from giving speeches to corporations, writing books, and now producing content for former donors.
The Obamas have been given a $50 million from Netflix to produce content that they say will not be political or have a leftist slant. Uh huh.
What’s interesting is that the former president received hefty donations from Netflix executives throughout his tenure.
“Netflix and Shill,” as The New York Post writes.
The beauty of pre-bribes.

Illustration of the Day: the divide of capitalism and socialism.
Quote of the Day: The Wall Street Journal editorial board wrote a superb op-ed about President Donald Trump’s similarities to Herbert Hoover:

Tweet of the Day: so, after Roseanne Barr had her show cancelled after referring to Valerie Jarrett has an ape, the right is now going after Samantha Bee for calling Ivanka Trump a “feckless c**t” and suggesting that she has an incestuous relationship with her father, President Donald Trump. Yes, if you want to be consistent, then Bee should be fired, but why should we live in a world where being offensive equates to automatic termination? Plus, the government shouldn’t be involved in these types of decisions. Dave Rubin tweets:
Because in a free country a business can make whatever decision it so chooses. Then consumers can decide to use the product or not.
He’s correct about the double standard, but that’s better than having the government pick and choose who should be fired for speech. pic.twitter.com/2Y7SeoIblm

Video of the Day: Matt Walsh of The Daily Wire can seem holier than thou and talks down to his audience from a pedestal. That said, he can make some interesting points about society and culture, whether it is marriage or kids. One of his latest episodes talks about keeping your children off of social media:
