What is your source for news?
For the left and the right, it is typically a television news outlet that confirms their own bias.
On the left, it is CNN and MSNBC. On the right, it is Fox News. That said, much of the media landscape is slanted heavily to the left, while Fox fills the void for the right.
According to a new survey, most Americans view a foreign source as the most television news brand.
An analysis created for Research Intelligencer by Brand Keys found that the BBC received a trustworthy rating of 90 percent, followed by Fox News with 87 percent and PBS with 86 percent.
Rounding out the list were:
– Bloomberg (81 percent)
– MSNBC (80 percent)
– CBS (72 percent)
– NBC (70 percent)
– ABC (69 percent)
– CNN (69 percent)
– Sinclair Broadcast Group (58 percent)
So, is BBC really a trusted news source?
Just check out its coverage of Brexit:
Let’s be honest: most news coverage has become either opinion-based or a form of activism (we’re looking at you Jim “Dear Diary” Acosta). It is difficult to have unbiased, objective news. If you turn on CNN, it’s just news anchors delivering the news with a slant or guests shouting vacuous polemics.
The state of journalism is really fake news.
