News Story of the Day: It’s Kane! It’s Kane! It’s Kane!
Glenn Jacobs, also known as Kane from the WWE, won his bid for mayor of Knox County. He won with two-thirds of the vote, defeating his Democrat rival, Linda Haney.
Although he ran as a Republican, Jacobs is a well-known libertarian.

Quote of the Day: Legendary economist spoke with Liberty Nation about his New York Times op-ed that slammed the president’s trade war and bailouts:
“Well, look, suppose you and I were sitting in a rowboat and I, like an idiot, shot a hole in the rowboat and now a little bit of water is seeping in. Should you shoot another hole in the rowboat? We should be smart and virtuous, and smart and virtuous means getting rid of all tariffs.”
Tweet of the Day: The U.S. government is upset Russia allegedly meddled in the 2016 election. Republicans and Democrats think it’s wrong, but not when the U.S. overthrows democratically-elected governments. Daniel McAdams destroyed Senator John McCain in a tweet:
McCain praises and has long been chairman of US government funded organization – @IRIglobal – whose sole purpose is to meddle in other people’s elections. #hypocrite. https://t.co/Y9NjWDvkmU
