The mainstream media’s Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is getting worse.
From people eating cake to protest President Donald Trump to sitting on street corners and screaming at the top of their lungs, the anti-Trump crowd has done a lot of crazy things to try to get Trump to exit the White House.
Of course, there is one thing they haven’t done: debate the issues and remain intellectually consistent.
But the Chicago Tribune may have taken the cake this week after publishing an op-ed penned by a dog.
That’s right. Columnist Rex Huppke’s “very good dog” ostensibly told him to write an opinion piece.
Uh huh.
Well, here’s an excerpt:
“I do not usually pay attention to human politics. I prefer more pleasant things like sniffing my friends’ butts or rolling on a dead bird in the backyard or eating things that will make me throw up.
Anyway, I am writing because I have noticed that you keep comparing human beings to dogs. I know this because I hear the television news humans talking about it on almost every station…. Just this week, you described Omarosa Manigault Newman, a human female person who worked for you, as ‘that dog.’
On behalf of myself and my friends I must protest. You seem to be using the word ‘dog’ as an insult. I think you are calling people dogs because you think that makes them less than human. My human says that’s something that ‘fascists’ do.”
Yikes. President Trump is really causing the left to lose its mind.
