You may not want to think about it now, but Christmas season is around the corner. Once Halloween is done, visions of Santa Claus and egg nogg are on the horizon – in Canada, the holiday season kicks into high gear once the October Thanksgiving is over.
If you’re someone who really enjoys Christmas and spends a lot of money on gifts and festivities, then here is a warning: start your budget now.
Thanks to President Donald Trump’s asinine trade war with China, you can expect to see an increase in costs. Why? Because 91 percent of Christmas festive articles originate from China.
From ornaments to plastic trees, from lights to Nativity scenes, you’re going to spend a whole lot more.
