The Economist: ‘When all job differences are accounted for, the pay gap almost disappears’

Well, feminists aren’t going to like this.

For years, the left has declared that the patriarchy has purposely lowered the wages of women all over the world. Don’t you know that for every dollar a man earns, she earns just 77 cents? That’s an outrage.

This myth has been debunked over and over again. No serious economist will touch this falsehood with a 10-foot pole.

The Economist, a left-of-center publication, using data from Korn Ferry, a consultancy group, tackled the subject once again and asked the question: “Are women paid less than men for the same work?”

The conclusion? Nope.
