News Story of the Day: The U.S. economy may have cooled off a bit from the second-quarter, but it is still expanding at a rapid rate.
According to the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), the gross domestic product rose at an annualized pace of 3.5 percent, beating market expectations of 3.4 percent. This was driven primarily by consumer spending, which advanced percent in the July-to-September period.
This is unlikely to dominate headlines as the media focuses on blaming the president for the mail bombs.
Chart of the Day: CNBC put together a comprehensive look at how everything has changed in the economy since President Donald Trump took office. Here is an interesting chart:
Illustration of the Day: President Donald Trump is literally Adolf Hitler. The government has killed more people than any other force in the world. The state spies on us regularly. Yet, the left wants to give up all of the guns. Interesting…
Quote of the Day: If you’re still sitting on the sidelines and wondering if you should read anything by Murray Rothbard, then here is a quote to whet your appetite:
“Since the State necessarily lives by the compulsory confiscation of private capital, and since its expansion necessarily involves ever-greater incursions on private individuals and private enterprise, we must assert that the state is profoundly and inherently anti-capitalist.”
Tweet of the Day: Peter Schiff gets it right in his latest warnings about the recession, inflation, and the GOP getting the blame for the economic contraction, despite the obvious culprits being the Federal Reserve and the overall two-party leviathan.
The coming bear market and inflationary recession will have resulted from reckless monetary and fiscal policies of the Federal Reserve and the Federal Government. Both parties are at fault, but since Trump will be President when it hits the fan, Republicans will take the blame.

Video of the Day: Russia, Russia, Russia! Everything that goes wrong in the U.S. is because of Russia. We refer to Exhibit No. 43323: MSNBC’s Chuck Todd is now suggesting that it was the work of the Russians for what happened this week with the pipe bombs sent to prominent Democrats.
MSNBC’s Chuck Todd says he “has this fear” that the bombs shipped through the mail to prominent Democrats “could be some Russian operation” to sow division in the US.
