Millennials are unique. There is no other generation that resembles those born between 1980 and 2000. You could say that these youngins’ were raised by Baby Boomers who failed miserably at their jobs. No matter the excuse, millennials get a bad reputation – and for good cause.
Case in point, the whining over a board game.
Hasbro has released a new version of the beloved classic board game Monopoly called “Monopoly for Millennials.”
The box cover features the Monopoly Man wearing big sun glasses, holding a cup of coffee, sporting head phones, carrying his participation ribbon, and taking a selfie. The tag line? “Forget Real Estate. You Can’t Afford It Anyway.”
For $19.82, you can collect “experience” points to visit a vegan bistro, stay on a friend’s sofa, and enjoy a week-long meditation retreat. The timeless pieces are swapped for hashtags, cameras, and emojis.
As expected, the millennials whined on social media, forcing Hasbro to issue a statement:
“We created Monopoly for Millennials to provide fans with a lighthearted game that allows Millennials to take a break from real life and laugh at the relatable experiences and labels that can sometimes be placed on them. With many of us being Millennials ourselves, we understand the seemingly endless struggles and silly generalizations that young Millennials can face (and we can’t even!). Whether you are a lifestyle vlogger, emoji lover or you make your ‘side hustle’ selling vegan candles, Monopoly for Millennials is for you!”
This generation is lacking something else that other generations had: a sense of humor.
Now, go to your safe space and collect that Starbucks latte.

It is very unfair to blame the parents, when the schools and society have way more influence on people.
