What’s worse? Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) or those who applaud her every word?
Speaking at a Martin Luther King forum in New York City on Monday, AOC went on a tear and delivered a number of statements that will definitely make you facepalm.
Let’s start with her doom and gloom prognostication about the end of days by 2031.
AOC said that the world will come to an end in 12 years because of climate change:
“I think the part of it that is generational is that millennials and people, in Gen Z, and all these folks that come after us are looking up and we’re like, the world is gonna end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change. And your biggest issue, your biggest issue is how are going to pay for it? — and like this is the war, this is our World War II.”
How is this any different from that old man wearing a brown paper bag as underwear and screaming about the apocalypse?
Perhaps to deflect from her ridiculous prediction, AOC accused math-based algorithms of racism because they are developed by humans. Huh? So, math is racist now – but that’s not new; the social justice warriors have made this claim for years now.
Then she slammed being successful, proposing that the state intervene when people are too successful. Why? Because being a billionaire is immoral.
Finally, AOC thinks it is time the United States pay reparations in the same way Germany did following the war. The only way the U.S. can heal, AOC suggests, is if America tells the truth by paying reparations.
Here is a question that could perhaps send AOC into a meltdown: What if a white billionaire, who opposed reparations, developed an algorithm that solved climate change?

Someone says “like” and you take it as literal in a way to slam her, because while everyone knows climate change is real, how dare she figuratively say it is happening in 12 years and we need to do something about it, that’s just absurd.
Kind of like retirement, why start planning for it when you are 18, when you can put it off until your 50…..

Oh, and by the way, according to this article QUOTE: “Her comments are in reference to a United Nations-backed climate report, published late last year, that determined the effects of climate change to be irreversible and unavoidable if carbon emissions are not reined in over the next 12 years.”
