It has been a terrible week for the mainstream media, particularly CNN (SEE: It’s been a bad month for CNN). While the fake news BuzzFeed story was horrific, the #MAGAKids story was pretty bad.
Why? Because the press immediately passed a narrative that a bunch of MAGA hat-wearing white Catholic kids were bullying a Native American elder. The Twitter outrage mob doxxed the kids and wished for their deaths. It was disgusting.
As we now know, the kids were the victims of racism and Nathan Phillips was not being harassed by anyone.
This is truly a lesson in fake news.
