China is the personification of the classic George Orwell quote: “If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face — forever.”
With its new social credit system, the public is under the tight grip of the state. You must obey their orders, whether it is eating healthy or legally cross the street, otherwise you will be cast out like a leper. Complemented by its surveillance system, the social credit concept diminishes any little freedom that the Chinese enjoyed.

China Daily is reporting that provincial authorities in Hebei have launched a new mobile application over WeChat that can inform people if they’re walking towards someone in debt.
Named “Map of Deadbeat Debtors,” the program flashes a warning if you are within a 500-meter radius of someone in debt.
