It seems like whenever Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) speaks she embarrasses herself. From claiming the being morally right trumps being factually correct to claiming that the unemployment rate is low because everyone works two jobs, AOC hasn’t exactly been the intellectual that some had hoped for.
This week, she had another terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Any cynic would think that she is uttering nonsense because this way she can stay in the limelight and rise to power like President Donald Trump. But then again, she is being enabled because everyone is applauding her vacuous polemics.
First, she suggested that her interview with Margaret Hoover on “Firing Line” was doctored. If you remember, during an exchange in the one-on-one, AOC stated that Israel was occupying Palestine, conceding that she was not an expert on geopolitics.
The clip made the rounds and was covered by every right-leaning media outlet.
But AOC alleges that the video was doctored. She didn’t accuse PBS of doctoring the clip, though, which means she’s hinting that everyone else manipulated the comments.
She told The Intercept:
“[The video] got doctored and then the doctored video was the one that ended up on Fox News and then like everyone just sees the doctored version instead of the actual exchange.”
THREAD: Ocasio-Cortez blatantly lies about what happened with her July 2018 remarks on Israel “occupying” Palestine

Since The Intercept, which is generally good on foreign policy, is infatuated with AOC, she did not receive any pushback.
For those who don’t remember, here is AOC embarrassing herself.
Now let’s get to the centrist billionaire Howard Schultz and how he has become public enemy No. 1 for the Democrats.
Schultz is running for president as an independent, and he is receiving plenty of pushback. His opponents say he will cost the Democrats the election and ensure President Trump gets a second term. We shall wait to see if the Counterfeit News Network and other members of the press accuse Schultz of working for Russia.
The former Starbucks CEO disagreed with a 70 percent income tax rate, adding that he “would have to say things that I know in my heart I do not believe, and I would have to be disingenuous” if he ran for the Democrats.
AOC then tweeted nonsense:
“Why don’t people ever tell billionaires who want to run for President that they need to ‘work their way up’ or that ‘maybe they should start with city council first’?”

First, this guy is a billionaire ten times over and turned a coffee shop into a global empire. Second, AOC went from bartender to congresswoman without starting off at the local level.
Oh AOC.
No wonder why AOC sticks to friendly media and refuses to partake in discussions that might not be as a sympathetic to her views.
As the great William F. Buckley said, “I would like to take you seriously, but to do so would affront your intelligence.”
