Remember Herman Cain?
He ran for president in 2012 for the Republicans and became a frontrunner for a brief period thanks to his 9-9-9 plan. This consisted of a nine percent sales tax, a nine percent income tax, and a nine percent corporate tax. He proposed that his idea would replace all of the existing taxes in the books.
The former Federal Reserve Kansas City Bank Chairman had to suspend his campaign because multiple women accused him of sexual harassment. After a couple of weeks of dominating headlines, we never heard from these women again.
Well, Herman Cain may be returning to the public eye.
According to CNBC, the former Godfather’s Pizza CEO is being considered for a Federal Reserve governorship.
Reportedly, Cain met with President Donald Trump at the White House on Wednesday. He was escorted by National Economic Council director Larry Kudlow.
The White House is looking to fill a couple of vacancies on the Fed board.
