America’s energy situation has been a riveting tale.
In 1957, the United States imported just 11.4 percent of its petroleum. By 2005, U.S. net petroleum imports surged to more than 60 percent.
Now, thanks to the energy renaissance in America today, these imports have cratered to just 12 percent.
That is a remarkable achievement for the country.
And, this is without the government and its decades of empty promises to be energy independent.
