Everything about former Vice President Joe Biden’s bid for the White House so far now just seems mendacious, fake, and forced.
From claiming that he told former President Barack Obama not to endorse him to falsely saying that President Donald Trump called neo-Nazis in Charlottesville “fine people,” Biden just seems like he’s taking a page out of Hillary Clinton’s electoral playbook.
But in a move that is more awkward than Biden touching women and children, he hired former CNN contributor Symone Sanders.
Serving as a senior adviser, the former press secretary for Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT)’s 2016 bid doesn’t think white people should be helming the Democratic Party.
Shortly after Trump took office, Sanders said on a CNN segment:
“We don’t need white people leading the Democratic Party right now,” she said.
“The Democratic Party is diverse, and it should be reflected as so in our leadership and throughout the staff at the highest levels from the vice chairs to the secretaries all the way down to the people working in the offices at the DNC.”
It looks like she contradicted herself twice, once before these odd comments and another time after these remarks.
