Paul Krugman has a lot of distinctions: Nobel Prize winner, New York Times blogger, bestselling author, and first-ever winner of a fake news award.
Krugman has made many predictions in the past, including this hilarious comment in 1998 (SEE: 8 Paul Krugman quotes to laugh at):
“The growth of the Internet will slow drastically…By 2005 or so, it will become clear that the Internet’s impact on the economy has been no greater than the fax machine’s.”
He also predicted that the economy would plunge, the market would crash, and the world would come to an end once President Donald Trump moves into the White House. For this, he was the top winner of the Fake News Award from the Republican Party.
Trump decided to unload on Krugman on Twitter shortly after the latest gross domestic product (GDP) numbers came out:
Paul Krugman, of the Fake News New York Times, has lost all credibility, as has the Times itself, with his false and highly inaccurate writings on me. He is obsessed with hatred, just as others are obsessed with how stupid he is. He said Market would crash, Only Record Highs!

A lot can be said about the Trump economy and Trumponomics. For now, let’s just agree with Trump and enjoy the roast!
