White women can ‘Race2Dinner’ with black women to be told they’re ‘upholding white supremacy’

When you go out to dinner, or have a nice little get together, you want to spend it with people you like, participating in interesting conversation and enjoying a delicious meal. But, like everything else they ruin, the left wants to make your dinner terrible.

A new service called Race2Dinner encourages white women to invite black and brown women to attend a dinner. For the length of the dinner, you will be told how “you have caused immeasurable pain and damage to Brown and Black women.”

That’s right. You can buy these people dinner, but rather than being grateful for a free meal, they will “express the pain you have caused, white women. What you do after you leave the dinner is up to you. WE don’t care about your feelings. SIT WITH THAT FOR A MINUTE. Your feelings pale in comparison to the violence you have caused Black and Brown women.”

And that’s the purpose.

According to the website, the organization’s mission is to “reveal the naked truth about RACISM in America and YOUR COMPLICITY as white women.”

Since “you are an active participant in upholding white supremacy” by merely existing, you need to be informed that you are complicit.

But if they’re upholding white supremacy, then why would they bother going out to dinner with someone of another race?

No, this isn’t a parody, a joke, or a satirical piece from The Babylon Bee (we wish!). It’s for real.

This story comes after a study found that when white liberals learn about white privilege, they became less sympathetic to impoverished white people. But their sympathy for poor blacks remained the same.

“What we found startling was that white privilege lessons didn’t increase liberals’ sympathy for poor Black people,” writes Erin Cooley, one of the study’s authors and an assistant professor of psychology at Colgate University, in an explanatory post for Vice. “Instead, these lessons decreased liberals’ sympathy for poor white people, which led them to blame white people more for their own poverty. They seemed to think that if a person is poor despite all the privileges of being white, there must really be something wrong with them.”
