Is Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross on the chopping block?
Several media reports say that President Donald Trump is considering to give Ross the heave-ho because of his failure to get a question about citizenship on the 2020 United States Census.
Citing sources close to the situation, NBC News is reporting that Ross could be gone by as early as this summer and that the White House is looking externally for his replacement.
There are two things interesting about the story.
The first is that of all the things Ross might get canned over it is the ridiculous citizenship question, not the horrific economic trade policies.
The second is that many conservatives and Republicans are actually enthusiastic about the citizenship question being added to the Census. The real complaint should be that you are mandated to fill the Census in the first place.
Doesn’t the right hate to do things the state forces them to do?
