Anytime the federal or state government intervenes into the marketplace, politicians generally make everything more expensive. That’s just the nature of the leviathan.
Education or healthcare, the government has made everything more costly. And it doesn’t end.
On the other hand, when the free enterprise system is in charge of goods and services, they either become cheaper or flatline.
